Fabrication Shop Manager – Fort Wayne
Tony is responsible for all Fort Wayne fabrication operations and the entire team. He implements quality and process improvements in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Tony is also responsible for maintaining the level of consumable goods to prevent interruptions in production while executing the planned production schedule.
As a Shambaugh Safety Coordinator, he maintains a visible presence within the Fort Wayne shop across three shifts of operation, encouraging staff to continually choose safe and effective work practices. Tony further supports shop safety by holding weekly tool-box talks and safety inspections.
Beginning his career as an apprentice with the Local 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters, Tony completed the five-year Automatic Sprinkler Apprentice Training Program through Penn State University. He also earned an Associate’s Degree in both business administration and general business studies from Ivy Tech State College in Fort Wayne, IN.
In addition to his field career, Tony worked several years in the fabrication shop. He has served as Manager, guiding Regional Field Superintendents as they performed fire protection work across the United States.
His professional background includes multiple certifications and training accolades including Honorable Discharge from the United States Army, OSHA 10- and OSHA 30-hour Training Courses, Executive Leadership Development Program, Dale Carnegie Graduate, and Adult CPR and AED certifications.
