Director of Fabrication Operations, National Fire Protection
Tony is responsible for all operations at Shambaugh’s Fort Wayne, IN; Trinity, AL; and Kingman, AZ fabrication shops. From the Fort Wayne headquarters, he helps to ensure safety policies are communicated and implemented, and that employees receive the training they need to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
As the driving force behind the relocation and expansion of Shambaugh’s Fort Wayne fabrication shop from 40,000 square feet to 100,000 square feet, Tony helped transition the fabrication process into a 24/7, three-shift enterprise. He was also instrumental in launching our Trinity operations.
Additionally, Tony was involved from the ground up in all aspects of the new Progressive Pipe Fabricators’ state-of-the-art 82,000-square-foot shop in Kingman, which ships approximately one million pounds of fabricated material per week.
Tony joined Shambaugh in 2016, bringing with him experience gained in the manufacturing industry since 1989. His specialized experience includes working on processes, and establishing new facilities by developing realistic target dates and achieving high standards.
He is well-versed in motivating large teams and individual employees to give their best by fostering open communication, providing feedback, and offering developmental training to enrich skill levels.
Tony’s professional certifications include Six Sigma, 5S, and OSHA 30-hour.
Tony and his wife, Julia, have four daughters. In his spare time, Tony enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time with his dogs.
